Independently Operated
One of our core beliefs is that nothing should stand in the way of our children and a great educational experience. Therefore, we have intentionally structured Telos Micro School as an independent nonprofit organization. This structure allows Telos to avoid the many layers of red tape, government loopholes, burdensome reporting, and other inefficiencies that often stifle great leadership and impede on excellent teaching.
For many families, the primary alternatives to government-provided education are private schools or homeschooling, which can be financially out of reach for numerous families, limiting their ability to provide the best education for their children. Enter Telos Micro School—a beacon of accessibility and innovation in education.
At Telos, we stand as a solution to this dilemma, offering families a more accessible choice. As school choice programs gain momentum across the nation, Telos emerges as an effective model for utilizing educational resources efficiently, effectively, and accountably. As an independently operated nonprofit, Telos is funded by tuition, fees, and charitable contributions, allowing us to blend the operational dynamics of a private institution with the community-driven support of a nonprofit.
In this model, Telos thrives based on the satisfaction and flourishing of our students and their families. If our students and families find themselves dissatisfied or unfulfilled, they have the freedom to seek education elsewhere. This inherent accountability drives us to operate relentlessly in the best interests of each student.
